Day 30/30 Birthday Bash Challenge Results!!! . I'm physical proof that the scale is a bitch and it doesn't measure your progress at all!!! I've held firm in that belief for years and now I proved it. Do I like that the scale reads the same number? Nope. Don't like it but I do know it's gone up and down four pounds in the last four weeks. It's never gonna stay the same so I look to other ways of measuring progress. Here are my changes: ✨ down 2.5" in my hips ✨ down 2" in my waist ✨ down 1" each thigh ✨ down 1" in my chest ✨ down .5" in each calf ✨ I can do push-ups on my knees birth standard and military. This is HUGE for me since I had a bilateral mastectomy. ✨ I have enough energy to sustain 60-90 minute workouts should I CHOOSE to do them. 💥 Five months ago I couldn't walk up five stairs without feeling like I would pass out. ✨ I can do lots of push ups on my toes with limited ROM. I can plank, half plank, mountain climb and more! ✨ I'm ready to increase my weights on every exercise. I started with no weights or my pretty pink 2 pounders lol. . 💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟 . You can't measure any of that on a scale. I hereby declare this year to be my strongest and healthiest of my life. That's if the pull ups don't kill me first ..... 😋. . Thank you for being on this journey with me, for all your love, laughs and support, for putting up with my potty mouth and being just Fucking Awesome in general (hey I'm from NY lol).
