Three years ago today I underwent a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery to remove #BreastCancer. Today is a very special day for me. While I can physically recall the fear of going under, the anticipation of having the tumor removed, feeling my family and friends' love and prayers - it feels so good that every day is a day further away from that date. . When I was diagnosed they recommended taking it one day at a time. It was fantastic advice because it was overwhelming. If they would have said thinking about what it will be like three years later I would've come up blank. . So here we are. Hear I am. Out of nowhere the song "Roar" came on the radio yesterday. My anthem, my theme and the universe converging to tell to me not look back. . Here's my little celebration.
