#ShiftShop #Week2 Complete - with Blood Sweat & Tears. I've been managing a swollen knee for 10 days. It's driving me CRAYYYYzy because I'm frustrated at the things I know I Can Do but I'm forced NOT to do them because of injury. But I kept hearing @chrisdowningfitness Chris Downing say, "So what if you have to modify???? You're getting better, EVERY DAY!!!" By the end of the workout o just cried. Really hard. Because I've said this to countless people through the years and never really had anyone to say it to me. Switching roles from leading a class to. Ring lead wasn't an easy transition - but when I let go of the vision of everything I COULD DO and everything I USED to be able to do - then it all started to fall into place. . I broke. Mentally and physically and I think it's exactly what I needed to finish this week wth a wink and a smile 😉😄. While I still think it royally sucks to be injured I'm working through it and I'm very proud to say I NEVER GAVE UP & some of that warrior princess vibe from kicking fighting BC finally kicked back in!!!! #SurviveAndConquer - there's an obstacle in my way and I'm focusing on the person I will be when I get on the other side of that WALL that I personally built, solidified and banged my head against for too long. I refuse to tear it down. That takes too much time and effort. I'm gonna find me way around it or over the damn thing. Cuz what I want and what I need is on the other side of that wall. #SeeYouOnTheOtherSide. #MakeTheShift
