What does Mind Over Matter even mean?? . For me it means associating the pleasure of completing a task or achieving a goal instead associating the pain with it. I'm a really good procrastinator. It's one of my weaknesses. But putting off anything only becomes more painful in the end. . I'm doing more to create permanent and consistent change by setting new patterns and behaviors to get out of the "pain" mode (fear, anxiety, doubt, etc) and into the pleasure mode (accomplishment, pride, happiness, motivation). . How? I've been spending more time asking questions about why I put things off and what kind of "pain" there really is. What will it cost me if I don't try? What will it do to my family my business? What is it doing to me?? Focusing on what's important - do my work - help more people - I love to help people in every way and it brings on great feelings of joy to see people thrive. I turn that thought process into questions like if I change my habits now how will my life be? What will I gain? . Yeah it's just as simple as saying get of your arse and start moving - but I love the idea of pushing forward and liking it again. . It just takes 20 seconds of courage to ask yourself the hard questions. You might really love your answers.
